TERMS & CONDITIONS QUANTITY TAKEOFF SERVICES

Estimacore Solutions Ltd

1. Scope of services

Estimacore Solutions Ltd provides quantity takeoff, BOQ preparation, and construction estimating services based on drawings, specifications, and information supplied by the client.

These services are separate and independent from EPC or retrofit assessment services, which are governed by separate terms.

2. Nature of the service

  • Quantity takeoffs are prepared for estimating and planning purposes only

  • All quantities are based on information provided at the time of instruction

  • No site visits, surveys, or design responsibilities are included unless explicitly agreed in writing

3. Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date drawings and documents

  • Confirming scope, trade coverage, and measurement standards

  • Reviewing all deliverables before use

  • Estimacore Solutions Ltd is not responsible for errors arising from incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by the client.

4. Pricing & payment

  1. Prices are confirmed before work begins

  2. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise

  3. Payment terms will be agreed in writing

  4. Deliverables may be withheld until payment is received

5. Revisions & changes

  • Minor revisions may be included where agreed

  • Significant scope changes, revised drawings, or additional trades may incur extra charges

6. Turnaround times

Any stated turnaround times are estimates only and may vary depending on project complexity, scope changes, or client response times.

7. Limitation of liability

  • Quantity takeoffs do not constitute cost advice, final pricing, or guarantees of construction cost

  • Estimacore Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Liability is limited to the fee paid for the relevant service

8. Use of deliverables

Deliverables are provided solely for the client’s internal estimating, tendering, or planning purposes and may not be resold or redistributed without written permission.

9. Complaints

Any complaints relating to quantity takeoff services should be submitted in writing using the contact details provided. Complaints will be handled fairly and promptly.

10. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
